The mission of the National Athletic Trainers' Association is to enhance the quality of health care provided by certified athletic trainers and to advance the athletic training profession. Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) are medical professionals who collaborate with physicians in the prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

Athletic Insurance

The school district provides athletic insurance for students participating in high school sports. There are guidelines regarding who is covered, medical payments, and how to file a claim. Please read the following pdf for additional important information.Insurance_letter1.pdf

All students participating in high school sports must have an active sports physical. Physicals must be dated after April 1st of the preceding school year. Sports Physical/Parent Permission Form: Physical_Form1.pdf

Sports Physical

Sports physicals will once again be offered at SHS for $10. This year the physicals will be held on May 18th.
