The Spartanburg High Family is extremely proud of its rich tradition of academics, arts, and athletics. At Spartanburg High School our student-athletes are encouraged to be active on campus, excel in the classroom, and participate in school organizations in an environment where the primary goal is the successful completion of requirements for graduation.

Athletics are not a diversion, but rather an extension of a great educational program. Athletic participation provides valuable lessons for practical situations: teamwork, sportsmanship,winning and losing, and hard work. Through participation in athletic programs, students learn self-discipline, build self-confidence, and develop skills to handle competitive situations.

Our students have reached the highest pinnacles due to the support of our alumni, parents,and friends.
