Theatre ODYSSEY, under the direction of Christine Evans, is a program for students identified as gifted and talented in Theatre Arts. In order to qualify for the program, a student must meet S.C. state identification criteria and be admitted by the District No. 7 Evaluation and Placement Committee. An audition is a required part of the identification process. Nomination forms may be obtained from the school guidance department. Students may enroll in Theatre ODYSSEY for three full years. In addition to the class, the groups meet once each week after school, on selected Saturdays, and one week in the summer. The Theatre ODYSSEY course may be used to meet the fine arts requirement for students planning to attend a South Carolina four-year college/university.
